Keeping Credit In Check

Each year everyone is entitled to a free credit report from each of the three credit reporting bureau’s .  Ideally, a credit wise consumer will spread the three reports out over the year to keep track of any changes.

Checking your credit report is very important to your overall financial health.  The information contained in your credit report affects so many aspects of your daily life – getting a loan, renting a house or apartment,  accessing basic utility services, and in some cases even getting a job!  These free credit reports are made available to you for free, but it is your responsibility as a credit wise consumer to request these reports, and to verify the information is correct and up to date.

Remembering to check your credit is hard.  We understand that and want to invite you to sign up for our free email and/or text reminder.  If you sign up, we will send you an email or text reminder on 2/2, 6/6, and 10/10, along with some financial tips.  And we will never share your contact information with anyone, never try to sell you anything,  and you can always opt out of these messages at any time.
